Governance and Decentralization (DAO Structure)

LogIQ’s long-term success and credibility hinge on it being community-driven and decentralized. Given the project’s intersection of Web3 and AI, embracing a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) model for governance aligns perfectly with the ethos of empowering individuals. This section outlines how governance is structured, and how decisions are made as LogIQ evolves:

Governance Principles: From the outset, LogIQ is built on the principle of collective intelligence. Just as we gather many minds to solve AI-hard problems, we believe many minds should have a say in how the platform itself operates and grows. Governance in LogIQ aims to be:

  • Transparent: All proposals, discussions, and votes are open for the community to inspect. This could be via on-chain proposal systems or public forums and GitHub for off-chain deliberation.

  • Inclusive: Every token holder can have a voice, and reputation systems can ensure newcomers can rise in influence through merit. It’s not just whales or insiders making decisions; ideally, the solver community – the people actually contributing Proof of Thought – have significant influence.

  • Fair and Accountable: Rules are set to prevent abuse. If the community votes on funds usage, those funds are handled via multi-signature wallets or smart contracts that execute the outcome. Elected council members or core contributors can be voted out or challenged if they misuse power.
